Established in 2015. Ace Hotel PGH resides in a historic, century-old building, formerly the East Liberty YMCA. We've preserved many features of its past -- its windows, its ornate facade, its velodrome -- in hopes of celebrating its rich history. Pittsburgh is a city we love for its neighborhoods. East Liberty, for instance, was once a free-grazing field in the shadow of the Alleghenies, and before that it was under the sea. (You can still find brachiopod fossils hidden beneath the sidewalk).
