  • DAY 1 TOKYO

    Arrival in Tokyo (Narita or Haneda) where you will be met by a representative and helped to board an airport bus to your hotel (arrival time should be between 0800-2000).

    *Unlimited Wifi device (portable router device) is available for 50 CAD/device for the length of your stay.

    DAY 2 TOKYO (FULL DAY CITY TOUR)

    Today, join a guided sightseeing tour of Tokyo (seat in coach). Join the group at the meeting point around 7:30am. Visit Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine, Imperial Palace East Garden (or Imperial Palace Plaza when East Garden is closed Mon. and Fri.). Free time for lunch (not included), Hama Rikyu Garden, Sumida River Cruise to Asakusa.

    DAY 3 TOKYO – DAY FREE (OPTION: MT. FUJI & HAKONE)

    Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the city.

    Optional Excursions: Full day Mt.Fuji and Hakone with lunch included, round trip by motor coach.
    After breakfast, join a bus tour going to Mt. Fuji 5th station, Owakudani Valley, Hakone Ropeway, and a boat cruise on Lake Ashi. Return to Tokyo late afternoon. $220 per person.

    DAY 4 TOKYO

    Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the city.

    DAY 5 TOKYO - KYOTO

    After breakfast, make your own way to Tokyo station and board a pre-reserved bullet train to Kyoto (no guide on train). Upon arrival at Kyoto station, transfer on your own to hotel (10 min walk approx.). Rest of the day is at leisure.
    Optional Baggage Delivery: Deliver your baggage on the next day from hotel in Tokyo to hotel in Kyoto (Leave baggage at hotel reception by 8AM): $50 per bag.
    *No service for Japan’s special holiday, such as Golden week or Obon or any special day (Matsuri event, Marathon and so on).

    DAY 6 KYOTO FULL DAY TOUR

    Make your way to meet your tour guide at Kyoto Avanti Sunrise tours desk by meeting time (approx. 10 min walk). Depart at 08:30am, Avanti’s Sunrise Tours Desk (Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit). Visit will include: Nijo-jo Castle, Kinkaku-ji Temple, and Kyoto Imperial Palace (except Mondays) replaced by Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Lunch at a local restaurant (cost not included) and continue to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple. End of tour will be at Kyoto Station. Make you own way back to your hotel.

    DAY 7 KYOTO

    Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the city. Remember to visit the Gion district – the place to get a taste of old Japan. With its streets lined with old wooden buildings, Gion will not disappoint. Why not visit the city of Osaka? About an hour away from Kyoto, Osaka is known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food. And finally, the bamboo forest can also be visited by train from Kyoto!

    DAY 8 KYOTO – KANSAI AIRPORT

    Transfer to Osaka’s Kansai Airport by airport bus (flight departure between 0800-2200).
