The Barcelo Marina Palace is located across from the Marina Gaviota and minutes from the Punta de Hicacos Ecology Park. This new property which opened in February 2005, offers an ideal holiday setting. With a variety of activities including tennis, kayaking and a mini-club for kids, all guests are sure to be kept busy. Beach lovers will appreciate the two-kilometre-long stretch of white sand beach and turquoise waters, while nature lovers will enjoy strolling the beautiful gardens throughout the hotels spacious grounds.

The Barcelo Marina Palace has 296 junior suite rooms and four suites. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning, full bathroom with hair-dryer, telephone, satellite TV, coffee-maker, safe, mini-bar, 24-hour room service, balcony or terrace, views over the beach, the garden or Mar del Sur, press and ironing table, and fans. It has 1 swimming pool for adults, with Jacuzzi, children paddling area, 2 tennis courts, a multi-sports area, volleyball, beach tennis, club house, French bowls, giant chess, shuffle board and bicycles.

For those keen on nautical activities, they offer beginner courses in diving, non-motor aquatic sports (catamaran, sea bikes, windsurf, diving without tanks and a banana boat certain times of the day). With youngsters in mind, the hotel has a baby club (for children between 0 and 2 years old) and a mini-club (for children between 2 and 12 years old). There is also a complete program of daytime and evening entertainment, with a theatre for up to 550 people where live shows run every evening.
